I am a web designer and Flash developer with over 6 years of experience in producing interactive media for the web and other applications. My broad range of skills also includes presentations and layout and design for print.

I am hard working self-starter, with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. I thrive in a team environment, and am able to take the initiative where required.

Key Skills

I have been involved in design since college, and have specialised in web design and development for the past 6 years. My key interest lies in Flash based interactive media for the web and standalone applications.

I have experience in producing web pages and other media for large corporate clients as well as designing for smaller promotional sites and online advertising media.

I have also been involved in the production of DVD video content, promotional documents and presentations.

October 2003 — March 2005

I worked as a freelance Flash developer and web designer with Kugel from October 2003 to June 2004.
I was then offered a full time position.

My role involved the production and design of Flash and HTML content for mainly high-end property
developer sites. Other projects included the production of CD ROM content for both Kugel pitch presentations
and for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Multimedia design, development and production, using Flash MX and Dreamweaver

Web Designer/Developer, Perspectives Red Cell

I worked at Perspectives Red Cell as a web designer/developer from January 2001. Initially, I was part
of a team of three designers and developers, but for the last ten months of my employment, was the sole resource for interactive media.

I developed an excellent working relationship and reputation within the agency. I was responsible for accepting briefs in tandem with various creative teams. Working with these teams, I advised on the technological opportunities available, and developed a diverse range of online promotional media. I was also required to convert existing printed media to a format suitable for the web.

Responsibilities

  • Development and production of online games using Flash
  • Multimedia development and production, using Flash MX and Dreamweaver
  • Work with programmers to implement Flash integration with ASP applications to interface with SQL databases
  • Production and development of rich media advertising, including overlays, banners and HTML emails
